Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 1800 West Loop South (West Interstate Highway 610 South) on April 17 has died.
The identity of the male, 52, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer C. Ballard reported:
The driver of a Chevrolet Impala was traveling southbound at the above address when the vehicle failed to maintain a single lane and struck a retaining wall. Paramedics transported the driver to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced him deceased today (April 30).
No other person(s) or vehicles were involved.
The investigation is continuing.
