Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4800 West Fuqua Street about 10:05 p.m. on Friday (April 25).
The deceased male is identified as Kevin Jones, 67.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer D. Thompson reported:
The operator of a black Harley-Davidson FLS motorcycle was traveling eastbound near the above location when he struck a blue Chevrolet Silverado truck. The operator of the motorcycle, Mr. Jones, lost control and then struck the concrete curb along the median.
The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado truck fled the scene and did not stop to render aid. The investigation is ongoing.
