Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 11203 Whittingham Lane

Houston police are searching for a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 11203 Whittingham Lane about 4 p.m. on Sunday (April 27).

The suspect, Andres Fernandez De La Paz, 36, is charged with murder in the 482nd State District Court. A previous booking photo of Fernandez De La Paz, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.

The identity of the deceased male, 34, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D Davis and M. Althaus reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Further investigation identified Fernandez De La Paz as a suspect in this case. After consulting the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Fernandez De La Paz was charged for his role in this shooting. He remains at-large.
