DAMAGE: $300,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the roof of a 2-story townhome with a report of a possible victim. They conducted a primary search and assisted the individual out of the home. Crews made a defensive attack, and the fire was controlled and extinguished. It originated around the HVAC unit on the roof. 41 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 2, 15, 6, 28, 3, 11, 38, 60, 57 and Heavy Rescue 11.
