DAMAGE:$60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (kitchen).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 1-story residence on fire being used as a group home. They moved multiple residents away from the house and extinguished the fire. The fire appeared to have started from the kitchen area from the oven. The power company was notified to disconnect the electricity until proper repairs could be made. 38 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 23, 26, 46, 25, 35, 40, 19 and 24.
