PROPERTY SAVED: More than $3,000,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene with light smoke coming from an apartment. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The fire was contained to a bedroom closet wall where electrical wiring. The sprinkler system had also been activated. Crews extinguished the fire and conducted salvage and overhaul. CenterPoint was requested to control the electrical meters. 62 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 37, 21, 28, 3, 16 and 33.
