CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the roof of a 2-story apartment building. They accessed the roof and began an attack on the fire. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. The fire was contained to roofing material and joists with a contracted crew working on the roof prior to the fire starting. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 28, 83, 2, 51, 60, 69 and 57.
