| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3755 North Macgregor Way about 5:55 p.m. on Sunday (February 16).
The identity of the victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Barrett and P. Michon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound lying by the gas pumps. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined the victim got into an argument with an unknown suspect that led to a physical fight, and the victim being shot.
The suspect, described only as an unknown male, fled the scene in a white Nissan Altima with black rims.
