WHAT: Townhome fire.
WHEN: February 10, 2025, at 3:44 p.m.
WHERE: 5600 block of Sugar Hill Dr. 77056.
INJURIES: One civilian injured and transported to the hospital, one firefighter evaluated and transported to the hospital for possible heat exhaustion.

CAUSE: A powerline made contact with the gutter and appeared to have caused the fire.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 2-story townhouse. They made entry and pulled the ceiling to access the fire in the attic. Crews extinguished the fire and placed salvage covers over the contents. Several townhomes suffered from damage. An individual working on the townhome was injured and transported to the hospital. A firefighter was also evaluated by EMS and transported to the hospital for possible heat exhaustion. A powerline made contact with the gutter and appeared to have caused the fire. 72 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 15, 23, 5, 28, 83, 3, 11, 38, 51, 60, 62, 50, 30, Rescue 1 and 10, Heavy Rescue 11 and Rehab 42.
