INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $161,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $25,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a warehouse (a repair garage with an office/parts room). They made an offensive attack and forced entry. The fire was located and controlled. A primary search was completed with no one found. Crews ventilated the building and secured the utilities. HFD Hazardous Materials ensured that there were no hazardous materials present. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 51 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 2, 15, 68, 83, 69, 73, 75, 76, 10, 57, Hazmat and Rescue 10.
