| Houston police have released surveillance photo of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a female at 1206 Barker Cypress Road about 9:05 p.m. on Tuesday (February 4).
The suspect is described only as a black male, wearing a gray T-shirt with a Nike logo, green pants and black and white shoes. A surveillance photo of the suspect is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 48, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Montealegre and G. Rangel reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a convenience store at the above address and found an unresponsive female with gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of a black BMW sedan. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the female deceased.
Further investigation and evidence from the scene developed a possible suspect, seen exiting from the passenger seat of the BMW.
