WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: January 11, 2025, at 8:01 p.m.
WHERE: 10300 block of Emnora Ln. 77043.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $250,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $75,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed with everyone safely outside. Crews ventilated the house and extinguished the fire in the attic. Charred wires were found above a ceiling fan and appeared to have started the fire. A circuit breaker was also tripped in the electrical panel. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 77, 2, 4, 5, 49, 88, 38, 30 and Heavy Rescue 11.
