Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 5000 Paige about 12:50 a.m. today (Jan. 11).
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Detective E. Aguilera reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address. Upon arrival, they found the victim, who had been shot multiple times, lying in the street. Nearby residents had attempted to provide medical aid but were unsuccessful. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
