INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $100,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy smoke coming from a 1-story house. They made entry and extinguished the fire in the garage. The roof was ventilated, and a primary and secondary search were completed. The utilities were secured and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 36 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 23, 20, 26, 29, 36, 61, 24, and Rescue 42.
