WHERE: 11800 block of Lima Dr. 77099.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $55,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $210,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 1-story house heavily involved in fire and made an offensive attack. They quickly controlled the fire and completed a primary and secondary search. The fire was extinguished, and the American Red Cross was notified to assist the family. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 68, 83, 10, 73, 75, 76 and 57.
