Charges have been filed against a second suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 3850 Wilcrest Drive about 1:40 p.m. on November 24.
The suspect, Christian Myles Davis, 25 is charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in the 486th State District Court. A booking photo of Davis is attached to this news release.
Another suspect, Zavion Joshua Pabon, 18, is also charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in the 486th State District Court. A booking photo of Pabon is attached to this news release.
The victim has been identified as Tyler McGinty, 37.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a hotel room at the above address and were informed the victim had suffered a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the man, later identified as Mr. McGinty, to an area hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced him deceased on November 28.
Further investigation identified Pabon and Davis as suspects in this case. Pabon was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on December 5. Davis turned himself in to officers on Thursday (Dec. 12) and was subsequently booked into the jail.
