| Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 7800 Tidwell Road about 7:30 p.m. on November 23.
The suspect, Adrian Odell McGee, 22, is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court. A booking photo of McGee is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Johnny Felder, 34.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Chettry and H. Martinez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found an unresponsive male lying between the street and the curb. He had been shot multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male, later identified as Mr. Felder, deceased.
At that time, there were no known witnesses or suspects.
An initial investigation identified the two persons of interest and surveillance photos were released to the public on December 6. One of the persons of interest later voluntarily provided a statement to detectives and was released with no charges filed. Detectives would still like to speak with the second unidentified person, pictured below
Further investigation identified McGee as a suspect in this case. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and McGee, who is currently in custody in the Harris County Jail on an unrelated charge, was subsequently charged with murder in this incident.
