CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental due to a malfunction near bathroom exhaust fan.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the roof of a 2-story apartment building. They made an attack on the fire from the interior and on the roof, quickly controlling and extinguishing it. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 32 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 78, 83, 10, 60, 69, 75 and 57.
