Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 7598 Harwin Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 7598 Harwin Drive about 6:55 a.m. last Friday (Sept. 13).

The suspect, Ennis Randolph III, 56, is charged with murder in the 248th State District Court. A booking photo of Randolph is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Mohammed Al Quraishi, 64.

HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious event call in the parking lot of a business at the above address. They found a man unresponsive suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Another male (Randolph) at the scene admitted to shooting the victim, and officers disarmed and detained him. Paramedics pronounced the victim, later identified as Mr. Al Quraishi, deceased at the scene.

Detectives consulted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the suspect, Randolph, was charged with murder. He was then transported to the Harris County jail.
