WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: September 13, 2024, at 3:16 a.m.
WHERE: 8900 block of Lockwood Dr. 77016.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $175,000 in estimated property / content damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from the roof of a 1-story house and reset the fire. They forced entry and conducted a primary search. All the occupants were safely accounted for. An offensive attack was made, and the utilities were secured. The roof was ventilated, and the fire was controlled and extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 15, 19, 34, 39, 43, 56 and 30.
