WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: September 7, 2024, at 4:17 a.m.
WHERE: 1100 block of Pleasantville Dr. 77029.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: No reported injuries.
DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a house on fire with all the walls collapsed. They made a defensive attack and cooled down a nearby exposure. They conducted a primary search of the nearby exposure and portions of the house on fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin, and crews extinguished the fire. 37 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 41, 20, 45, 27, 42, 19, 30 and Rescue 42.
