WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: September 2, 2024, at 3:23 p.m.
WHERE: 4100 block of Anderson Rd. at 15200 block of Jupiter, 77053.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: Not available.
CAUSE: Unintentional (heat source too close to combustible).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. They ventilated the home and conducted a primary search. Everyone had safely made it out of the home. The crews extinguished the fire and fans were used to clear out the smoke. CenterPoint was notified to control the utilities. The fire had originated from a smoldering barbeque pit and spread to a wall up and into the house. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 2, 21,47, 59, 80 and 24.
