CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from the second floor of an apartment building and made an offensive attack. A primary and secondary search were completed, and the roof was ventilated. Crews secured the utilities and rotated until the fire was extinguished, ensuring all hotspots were fully out. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the families affected by the fire. 61 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 51, 82, 2, 59, 68, 33, 37, 48, 73, 80, 24 and Rehab 8.
