CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a generator room in the garage of a high-rise building. They shut the power off and extinguished the fire. Crews checked for hotspots with a thermal imaging camera and found none. The generator was cooled down and building maintenance was advised to keep it off and isolated until checked by a repair company. 27 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 5, 13, 38 and 50.
