INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $55,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. A primary search was conducted, and the utilities were secured. The crews extinguished the fire and confined it to the attic space over the garage. The electrical meter was found blown off the house and CenterPoint was notified to disconnect the power. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 45, 27, 41 and 44.
