WHAT: House fire.

WHERE: 5800 block of Belcrest St. 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed, and the house was ventilated. The gas meter was open and feeding the fire. Crews secured the meter and quickly extinguished the fire. The owner reported he may have accidentally spilled fuel while refueling his generator. 37 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 46, 23, 26, 35, 36, 24, 29 and Rehab 17.
