WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: July 10, 2024, at 9:21 p.m.
WHERE: 16400 block of Detric Ln. 77053.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $125,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $125,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the attic of a house. They used a k12 saw to remove burglar bars and gain access into the home. The roof was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. The crews quickly controlled and extinguished the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 21, 59, 46, 60 and 80.
