Suspects Charged, Wanted in August Shooting at 1701 Fulton Street

Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the shooting of three men at 1701 Fulton Street about 1 a.m. on August 17.

The suspects, Jonathan Jesus Aguilar, 19, and Carlos Jose Aguilar, 25, are both charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 338th State District Court.  Photos of both suspects, who are not in custody, are attached to this news release.

The victims were transported to area hospitals in stable conditions.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Garcia and V. Jones reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found three men suffering from gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals.

A preliminary investigation determined an altercation occurred at the residence and it is believed the suspect later returned and shot all three victims, who were outside.

Further investigation identified the Jonathan and Carlos Aguilar (brothers) as suspects in this case.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and aggravated assault charges were filed.  Both remain at-large.
