Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal stabbing that occurred at 10274 Tangiers about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 27).
The suspect, Kenneth Wayne Lockings (b/m, 45), is charged with murder in the 248th State District Court. A photo of Lockings is attached to this news release.
The female victim, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identification is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Arrington and J. Pickett reported:
The victim was found deceased in the living room of a residence at the above address. Family members of suspect Lockings found him at the scene. With their assistance, Lockings then turned himself in to officers at the HPD Northwest Patrol station where he was subsequently arrested, interviewed and charged.
