WHAT: 2-Alarm house fire.
WHEN: July 2, 2024, at 2:47 a.m.
WHERE: 3600 block of Sandy Forks Dr. 77339.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a house on fire and made an offensive attack. Most of the fire was in the attic area and they pulled the ceiling to extinguish the fire. During the extinguishment efforts crews switched to defensive mode and requested a second alarm for manpower. A primary search was completed with all the occupants safely accounted for. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 74 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 30, 15, 64, 102, 34, 65, 103, 104, 56, 101 and Rehab 17.
