WHERE: 300 block of Goldenrod St. 77009.

DAMAGE: $30,000 in reported damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 1-story house totally involved in fire and made a defensive attack. The nearby exposure was protected as crews contained the fire to the original structure. The utilities were secured and the fire was extinguished using aerial operations. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 32 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 6, 19, 9, 12 and 30.
