Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 2630 Tanglewilde Street

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 2630 Tanglewilde Street about 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday (August 7).

The identity and cause of death of the man, 34, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Stephens and M. Castillo reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a check on welfare call at the apartment complex at the above address and attempted to make contact with the tenant.  After not receiving a response, HPD officers and paramedics made entry to an apartment and found an unresponsive male on the floor.  Paramedics pronounced the man deceased.

At this time, the investigation in pending the man’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
