WHAT: Residential structure fire.
WHEN: June 10, 2024, at 12:44 a.m.
WHERE: 7 Briar Dale Ct. 77027.
INJURIES: One deceased dog.
PROPERTY SAVED: $1,200,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $800,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation, appears to be accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a residential structure heavily involved in fire. They conducted a primary search, and the residents were evacuated. One dog was found and declared deceased after HFD crews attempted to revive it. Approximately five vehicles were on fire in the garage with water and smoke damage to the residential units. Firefighters ventilated the building and extinguished the fire. The American Red Cross was requested for the residents. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 41 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 28, 2, 6, 3, 16, 37 and 57.
