UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 13700 Anagnost Road

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman found at 13700 Anagnost Road about 10:25 p.m. on May 3.

The suspect, Quan Flowers, 39, is charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court.  A booking photo of Flowers is attached to this news release.

He is accused in the death of Megan Rouse, 24.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Wilson and Detectives M. Nicotra and K. Clark reported:

A patrol officer on an unrelated call for service drove down the street at the above address and located the body of an unresponsive female in the roadway.  She had suffered apparent gunshot wounds.  Paramedics were called and pronounced the woman, later identified as Ms. Rouse, deceased.

Further investigation identified Flowers as a suspect in this incident. He was arrested last Friday (May 31) and subsequently charged.
