Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 9401 Cullen Boulevard about 3:10 a.m. today (May 13).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer R. Young reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after witnesses reported a male pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. The male was found in the northbound lanes of Cullen Boulevard. The male had suffered injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. The vehicle did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene prior to police arriving. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, there is no known vehicle or suspect description.
