| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5200 Galveston Road about 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday (May 8).
The identities of the deceased females are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer R. Guzman reported:
A silver Nissan Rogue traveling northbound on Timber Creek Drive made a left turn from onto Galveston Road and was struck by black Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling southbound on Galveston Road. The female driver, 79 and female passenger were pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
The male driver, 18, and male passenger, 18, of the Ford were transported to an area hospital in stable conditions. The driver of the Ford was evaluated and exhibited signs of intoxication.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
