Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 9100 Howard Drive about 11:10 p.m. on Monday (April 1) has died.
The identity of the deceased male, 62, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer D. Thompson reported:
The deceased male was riding a Vespa moped southeast bound at the above address. He failed to maintain a single lane, struck a curb and was ejected from the vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake where doctors pronounced him deceased on Wednesday (April 3).
The investigation is continuing.
