Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3275 Summer Street about 11 p.m. on Sunday (March 31).
The identity of the victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives G. Zavala and J. Diaz reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and observed a male unresponsive in the parking lot. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased by paramedics.
Witnesses stated the victim was with his dog near a vehicle and was approached by two unknown males. Gunshots were heard a short time later. The suspects then stole a dark gray, four-door Cadillac the victim was known to drive.
