Investigation into Female Found Deceased at 10000 Beaumont Highway

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 10000 Beaumont Highway about 10 a.m. on Tuesday (February 27).  

The female’s identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. May and C. Sharp reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and were advised that a passerby called 911 after finding an unresponsive female in a ditch near the roadway.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the female deceased.    

The investigation is pending the female’s manner and cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
