WHAT: House fire.

WHERE: 9200 block of Avenue R (9300 block of E. Ave P), 77012.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $150,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a house fully involved on fire and spreading to a nearby home and vehicle. They made an attack on the original fire and brought it under control. Meanwhile, crews extinguished the fire in the second home, which suffered damage to the attic and side wall. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 36 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 23, 20, 26, 29, 42, and Rescue 42.
