Surveillance Photos of Suspect Sought in Fatal Shooting at 6503 Wanda Lane

Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 6503 Wanda Lane about 12:55 a.m. on Saturday (December 9).

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male.  Surveillance photos of the suspect are attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim, 44, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Barrow and Detective J. Caten reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and learned from witnesses that the victim and an unknown male suspect got into an argument.  The suspect then shot the victim multiple times.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

The suspect, accompanied by a group of unknown persons, fled the scene, some on foot and others in a black sedan.
