Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4300 Rogers Street about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 7).The identity of the victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Brooks and C. Davidson reported:Officers responded to a shooting call in the roadway at the above address and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.The suspect is described only as a black male seen in a silver or gray hatchback of unknown make and model.Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
