HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and, as they arrived, saw a truck leaving the location.  Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however, the vehicle evaded them and a pursuit ensued.  Officers then managed to take the driver into custody.

Additional responding officers located the two men with gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported both victims to the hospital.

A preliminary investigation determined the men were attending a barbeque at a truck lot at the above address when the shooting occurred.  A witness identified the driver of the truck, Magana, as the shooting suspect.  Magana was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and Magana was subsequently charged for his role and booked into the Harris County Jail.
