Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 2800 Airline Drive about 7:30 p.m. last Saturday (Nov. 18) has died.
The identity of the male, 55, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer J. Trevino reported: The male, a pedestrian, was crossing the street – not in a crosswalk – when he was struck by a blue Mazda B3000 traveling northbound at the above address. Paramedics transported the male to Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center where doctors pronounced him deceased on Monday evening (Nov. 20). The male driver, 27, was questioned at the scene, did not show signs of impairment and was released. The investigation is continuing. JFC/VHS 11-21-23 Inc #165154523-W
