WHAT: Fire of restaurant under renovation.

CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke coming from the roof of a restaurant undergoing renovation. They checked for fire inside the structure and completed a primary search. A fire was found inside the wall and crews extinguished it from the roof. There was significant water damage to a portion of the wall, roof and inside the structure. The cause appeared to be electrical from wiring inside the wall of origin. CenterPoint responded and secured the power. 35 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 68, 83, 10, 51, 60, 69, 28 and 24.
