Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3244 Reeves Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3244 Reeves Street that occurred about 3:25 p.m. on Saturday (November 4).  

The identity of the male victim, 32, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Torres, II and A. Graf, II reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.  

A preliminary investigation determined a few family members were outside the residence playing dominoes when an unknown male wearing dark clothing approached them and had a brief interaction.  The male then walked away and, moments later, fired multiple shots at the victim from behind.  The suspect then ran to a white Chevrolet sedan parked nearby, got into the passenger side and fled the scene in an unknown direction.  

The suspect is described only as a black male.
