Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4300 Cosby Street

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4300 Cosby Street about 4:40 a.m. today (Oct. 30).

The identity of the deceased female, 37, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer T. La reported:

The female was driving a maroon GMC Denali westbound at the above address when the vehicle left the roadway and went into a ditch.  Paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.  

There are no known witnesses to the crash at this time.  The investigation is continuing.
