Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 4500 Hull Street about 2 a.m. today (Oct. 25).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 60s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported: Officers were dispatched to a person down call at the above address and found the victim in the street. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased. He had suffered apparent injuries to his head. Detectives initially believed the injuries were possibly gunshot wounds. Members of the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences found indications the injuries were possibly due to blunt force trauma. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time. An autopsy is being conducted to determine the victim’s cause of death.
