ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke coming from a detached 2-story garage apartment. They made an offensive attack and extinguished the fire with no extension to the second floor. The fire started near a portable a/c unit and several small tools plugged into a single outlet. Crews cleared the smoke and overhauled the structure. 22 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 12, 6, 9, 15 and 19.
