WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: September 4, 2023, at 4:13 a.m.
WHERE: 15100 block of Bathurst Dr. 77053.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $325,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $75,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find heavy fire coming from a house. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. The conditions worsened and crews switched to a defensive mode, controlling the fire from the exterior of the home. Once conditions improved, crews extinguished the fire inside. The utilities were checked and secured. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 36 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 47, 82, 2, 21, 59, 80, 59, 24 and Rehab 8.
